Our fees are set out below for non-managed properties.



Separate Notices of Transfer and if applicable charge are to be served (if specified in the Lease) on Tapestart Limited care of Compton Property Management Limited at PO Box 426, Swansea SA6 8YH. The fee for requesting and receipting notices is £62.50 plus vat per notice payable to Compton Property Management Limited – email

Deed of Covenant

If a Deed of Covenant is required under the terms of the Lease, the fee payable for administering and obtaining the Landlord’s seal to the said Deed of Covenant is £144.00, which is to be forwarded upon completion of the sale along with the signed deed, to Compton Property Management limited care of PO Box 426 Swansea SA6 8YH acting as agent for the Landlord, for sealing and return to you. please make cheques payable to Compton Property Management Limited.

Licence to Assign

If the lease provides for a Licence to Assign, there is a fee of £100.00 (no VAT) payable to Tapestart Limited, the landlord for granting a Licence to Assign. In light of the decision in Alchemy Estate Limited v Astor (2008) we will require that this fee is paid in full regardless of whether such licence is forthcoming. We enclose a draft copy of the Licence to Assign that is required. Please provide an engrossment duly signed and return it to us together with your cheque made payable to ‘Tapestart Limited’ for approval and sealing.

Non Managed Flats and Houses

If you are a solicitor requesting a standard leasehold information pack for non-managed flats and houses, please note our fee for providing replies is £100.00 (no VAT) payable to Tapestart limited.

Alternatively our fees for replies to specific enquiries for non managed flats and houses are below:

  • £10 per landlord enquiry payable to Tapestart Limited
  • £20 for a written receipt, payable to Tapestart Limited (email
