What we do

We invest in businesses based in South Wales . We provide capital in return for an equity stake. We also fund university research where the results can be commercialised.

We have substantial hands on experience in managing businesses and have in house expertise in the law, accountancy, finance, marketing and design.

We are prepared to apply that expertise to develop businesses in which we invest.

What are we looking for?

We are interested in any type of deal (e.g. management buy out, start up) in any sector. We would be particularly interested in companies selling into national or international markets. The business must be situated in South Wales , in order that we can monitor progress closely.

Our main concern is to achieve significant capital growth over the medium/long term: we are not looking for salaries or an income return on our investment. We are flexible as to the timing and method of any disposal of our investment.

With regard to university research; it is important that the results can be patented and then exploited commercially. We would expect the academics to provide the technical expertise, whilst we provide the business expertise.
